Husband talking shit...

I came home today and found my mom in her room crying (she lives with us). I asked her what was wrong and she told me she didn’t want to talk to me about it. I said ok and went to watch tv. She came out an hour later and told me that she felt that I needed to know what was wrong. She sat down and told me that she didn’t want to get involved in my marriage, but what she heard today couldn’t go untold.

I guess that today my mother in law came over to visit my husband which is great. Or so I thought. I guess she woke up from her nap and heard my husband and his mother talking really horribly about me. My husband was talking about all the things he hates about me and I guess his mother is trying to talk him into filing for divorce. Not only that, she wants him to leave me with nothing. She wants him to throw me flat out on my ass. I would be homeless and everything. She said she has a good lawyer to help him do it too. The part that hurts the worst.... I guess he actually took her seriously. My mother and I would both be homeless. He wants to keep the dog, which is my service dog and everything we own. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong. He has never voiced or given me a clue to that our marriage wasn’t great. We don’t even fight. I guess his mother also already has a girl that she wants him to ask out and start dating once the divorce is over.

I am so destroyed. I don’t know what I have done! I don’t know why this is happening! My husband and his mother will be back in a couple hours and I don’t know what to do or how to handle this!
