Spotting after papsmear

So im 8weeks 4days yesterday i went in for my first baby dr appointment and he done a pap. After he was done he said i may bleed some.. i didnt bleed any after but the following night around 1130 12 i started to spot some, i would sit up and blood got on my sheets. The following morning i stood up and had some come down my leg (tmi) took me a few wipes to get it all. But after there is very few spotting.. ive got slight cramping as well.. just wondering what you ladies think. Has this happened to any of you.. i had paps with my last 2 pregnancys and had no bleeding..
