Frozen embryo transfer under sedation?

Question

So I had my hysterescopy yesterday and it went great but because of my super narrow cervix and the fact that it’s a little slanted they are going to be putting me to sleep before my transfer in March? 
Anyone else been put to sleep for transfer and had success? 
I’m so nervous and can’t find anything on dr google lol

Hi Brittany. I had a sedation last time due to a painful attempt at embryo transfer that didn’t work so they froze it and transferred under sedation. It worked but sadly ended in ectopic. I’d be really interested to know how your cycle went given your similar position in this respect but I’m really sorry if this is insensitive xxx

Sedation will be best, you will be in pain if not.  Your narrow cervix is the reason why.  They want no moving while doing the transfer, and the pain you would experience would cause it too.
