At my 34 week appointment, my midwife felt my belly and as she felt for the baby’s head, she said “oh, her head’s really low” in a way that sounded like she was surprised. I’m 36 weeks now and pretty much since that appointment I’ve been getting lightning crotch quite often throughout the day, as well as just feeling general pressure and sharp pain that feels like it’s directly on my cervix. Most of the time when I get the sharp pain, it’s at the same time I feel my baby moving. I know dilating is caused by the baby pressing on your cervix, so do you think I’m dilating? Did any of you feel like this? I have an appointment tomorrow and will be offered a cervix check and I’m definitely going to agree to it because it really feels like somethings happening
