I have been reading all the posts about the genetic testing results, and have been waiting with anticipation to get mine. While I would have been completely content on having either, as long as it was healthy, I knew my husband was hoping and praying for a boy. He has 4 girls (3 from a previous relationship), and was completely convinced he could only make girls. Not only that, but there are no other males in the family to carry on his last name. He was the last hope.

Well, I really wish I had video recording the moment I got to tell him he is finally GETTING HIS BOY!!!

All test results came back low risk, and my fetal fraction was 6.9%. I am beyond ecstatic. I rushed out the next day and stocked up on blue yarn to start making our lil man some crocheted goodies.

As an added bonus, I got our local news to do our gender reveal for us. I've given him the task of naming our son, as he's never got to pick names before... just had to share. :)
