Are the Owlet Smart Sock Monitors worth it?

I read they give a lot of inaccurate reading and have false alarms,seems like that would cause a lot of unnecessary anxiety and stress.

LOVE our Owlet! Couldn’t sleep without it. Only ever got one false alarm and it’s because he was getting way too big for the sock (made him wear it till like 15 months 😅). Only other time we go a warning was when he was a few weeks old and the sock kept falling off. But once he was in his own room it was wonderful and no issues. I got ours on EBay for about 100 bucks less.

I might get it despite some saying there were false alarms.  When my babies were ill, I didn’t sleep AT ALL because I had this irrational fear of them dying in their sleep.  So my own anxiety already does me in.

I love it! Only once has the red alarm gone off when he was a newborn. You can turn off the other alarms, which I did. Before we got it, I would wake up constantly to check on him. Now I can sleep through the night. I know it’s not fool proof, but it put me at ease.
