I have a 14 month old who isn’t talking yet. She’ll say mama and dada/ daddy here and there, but I’m not quite sure she’s connected the fact that it’s us. Other than that she doesn’t say any other words, she just makes other kinds of noises. If we tell her to “say_____” she’ll just look at us and smile and keep on with her gibberish 😂

Anybody have kids who took a while to talk? My cousins daughter who’s only 2 weeks older than mine can say a multitude of words and when told “say____” will say it. She’s my first so I’m not sure how much she should be saying by now or if she’s behind?
