Look for the “USP” seal on whatever you choose. It verifies the ingredients and potency of what’s in the bottle. Also, look for folate instead of folic acid. Folate is found in foods and can be absorbed better than the synthetic folic acid. Check the label and make sure that you vitamin contains either iron or calcium or neither. Calcium blocks the absorption of iron so it’s no good together. I take an iron (plus vitmanin C) supplement in the morning and I drink three glasses of milk a day. I like the Olly brand and SmartPants brand of gummy vitamins. An OB nurse told me that we actually absorb more from gummies than pills. I’m happy to eat them!
