Measuring ahead??

Based on my LMP, I’m 17 weeks and 3 days but when I went to my scan yesterday they said lil bean was measuring 19 weeks. Two whole weeks ahead of where I thought I was. Anyone else experience this? I guess I’m just surprised, this didn’t happen with my first so I’m a little confused at if it means anything at all

The reason they do the dating scans early on is babies grow at the same rate up to a point then they do their own thing. You may end up with a big baby... or not! 
They told me my first baby was going to be small and she wasn’t at all- so it’s all a guessing game 😶

I’m 19w6d but baby is weighing/measuring at 21w4d. They aren’t changing my due date but I’m under close monitoring due to a shortened cervix

My baby is weighing two weeks ahead but I was told since I had a dating scan at 7 weeks they won’t change my due date. She said those are the most accurate so it doesn’t affect that. Baby could even out eventually too so it doesn’t always mean anything.

My daughter always measured ahead. They eventually bumped up her due date a few days (later, she was born around 38 weeks). 
This baby was spot on at 7 weeks, and a little ahead at 10. Anatomy scan is next week so we will see.
