How do you sleep?!

Hey ladies!
Ftm here. I was wondering if anyone slept on their back their whole pregnancy with no ill effects? 
I am currently 23.5. Unfortunately I came into this pregnancy with multiple back and neck injuries, and pinched nerves in extremities. I own all the pillows and props, none work. I'm in so much pain tossing side to side at night and always end up on my back. I understand the risk but it's what my body wants. Going to discuss with Dr at next appointment, but was curious of others experiences!

I slept every which way during pregnancy. You can sleep on your back just not for long periods of time. Your body will let you know when it’s time to move though, it’ll wake you up. I would always fall asleep on my sides and wake up on my back and I was totally fine.

My dr said as long as I’m comfortable not to worry about sleeping on my back.

I slept like a stranded manatee, laying exactly how I could trying to be somewhat comfortable.tryst me, you know when it’s time to turn sides. It feels like you are about to faint.

yup! I still lounge on my back amd sometimes fall asleep that way and I'm 39 weeks. ive used the "if im comfortable, do it" mentality and all has been totally and completly fine. I started using pillows to prop me up more around third trimester. just find whats comfortable. by about week 37 your doc will probably suggest side lying. I generally do that now for my midwifes sake but still enjoy a back lay every now and again.

I am 17 weeks and my OBGYN told me at 16 weeks that sleeping on my back is dangerous
