Pads?

This is going to sound kind of nuts but bear with me here...
I'm working on a hospital bag list and it literally just occurred to me that I'll need pads, and I have no idea what to get. I haven't used pads in years (iud + period panties) and I never found anything that worked that well to begin with. I swear every pad felt like it was too wide between my legs and it would fold up and then leak.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any recommendations?

I use always adult diapers In The hospital and when I come home the first week or so. I know it sounds weird but it works so well. Other than that, I like Always infinity I think is the name get the biggest absorbency. They work well for me and don’t feel to bulky.

I agree with always infinity. They're long but very thin and hold a lot. I personally hate pads but if I HAVE to, that's what I use.

I like Always pads. But every pad is different, so you really have to look around and check the packages. I plan to use adult diapers with some longer (but skinny) pads that I bought a while back(honestly dont even know what kind they are because I threw out the outer packaging a while back), just so I dont have to worry about leaking or bleeding through or ruining underwear or pants that I might not hate lol. At my hospital, they do have a choice of pads while you are there, and they have like... normal pads with the sticky on the bottom and all that, and then they have these odd pads that are wrapped in a soft, not quite mesh or gauze sort of material. They are really long, and skinnier than normal pads, and I have a pack of those from my last stay in the hospital.

The long overnight ones with wings are great.  And you’ll need big underwear.  Don’t expect those pads to fit on cute little bikinis 😆

Adult diapers. Seriously. You don’t have to buy different underwear if you wear them. They are comfy, not bulk and don’t leak. Did it with my first after every pad leaked everywhere, someone told me about the diapers and I tried them and they were amazing. Until you stop bleeding so much.

I bought these super thick ridiculous pads last time and wound up really not needing anything near that thick. I used the hospital pads for the first day or two especially while in the hospital. But I could have used much thinner pads than I bought for home. For me it wasn’t much worse than a normal period flow.
