Low potassium?

I recently had blood levels drawn at a med center and they told me my potassium was 2.9... I now have to take potassium supplements. I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant. Anyone else have this issue?

Avocados, sweet potatoes, potatoes, dried apricots, watermelon and spinach all have more potassium than bananas so you can get some variety and help boost what the supplement does. I had low potassium before I was pregnant. I had dizzy spells and weird sensations in my chest. Apparently potassium affects your heart. Drink lots of water, electrolyte water, coconut water, etc too.

I was 13 weeks and my potassium dropped. Not nearly that low though. I hope they are having you follow up!
