So this might be a stupid question. But in order for sex/semen to help soften the cervix does the woman need to have an orgasm? I know when trying for a baby they say it helps if the woman has an orgasm, wasn’t sure if it was the same for helping the cervix soften.

I used to have no issues getting there, but lately I just can’t O during sex and I’m hoping it isn’t affecting my progression.
