My bf and I are having our first baby in a couple months and he's really hesitant about being on the birth certificate because he's convinced that theyll go off his income and they will deny the baby state health and we'll get financially screwed.. I keep telling him that's not how it works but I believe his family is telling him other wise.. he wants to talk to a lawyer.. is it just me or do I have a right to be a little pissed off? It feels almost like a rejection.. any advice? Were not married either.
