Sex after baby-my weird experience

Ok so my baby was born 5 months ago. Me and my husband had sex for the first the a few days ago. Now before everyone jumps down my throat, I had to have my c-section scar RE-opened 6 weeks after birth to remove a grapefruit sized tumor. So I had to go through the recovery from that again which was worse than the c-section with my baby. So I’ve been a little traumatized by the whole ordeal..which is why I’ve been scared to have sex. It also hurt to the entire end of my pregnancy. I hated it.

But the part that’s weird to me is the entire time we hadn’t had sex, I didn’t feel any need for it at all. No desire. In fact, I did not want it at all. Well after we did it the other day, I actually suddenly want to have sex again. I honestly thought I was not going to feel any desire for sex again because of how I was feeling. But it’s like my sex drive has been restored and I suddenly want to do it again and I look at my husband like he’s a fresh piece of meat 😂
