When to test?

I'm four days late, which is pretty much unheard of for my body. I googled around and it says to wait until a week after your period. Do you count that from day it should have started? I really want to take one tonight, but I don't want to get disappointed because I didn't wait long enough.

If you're 4 days late, I'd test today after holding your pee for a couple of hours. Most tests will tell you positive/negative from the day of your missed period.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 4 days late and I'm NEVER late. I've texted 2 days ago and also this morning. Both negative. No signs of AF at all... I hope you'll get a positive if you decide to test :) 
I knew with my first one 5 days before I was due :) it was very early testing. Good luck
