Birth control

Has anybody used the NuvaRing?

I put mine in at the totally wrong time because directions were unclear. It completely stopped my period first time around and i’m ten days late. Know for a fact that i’m not pregnant and i did take the ring out and plan to restart the process completely once my period comes back around. Just wondering if anybody else has had a birth control (doesn’t have to be the ring) that completely stopped your period right after starting which ever BC.
