How long does it take for a toddler to be steady on their feet?

My almost 14 month old has started walking full time for the last 3 weeks and she is still is very wobble and doesn’t walk straight. She falls and trips a lot as well. Is this normal? Will she get better over time?

All toddlers are different. However, it could take many months to be steady on their feet. Walking and balancing takes a lot of skill and practice for babies just learning. There’s a reason they are called toddlers. Toddle literally means (of a young child) move with short unsteady steps while learning to walk or a young child's unsteady walk.

It takes a few months for them to steady up.  Dont worry ! Our youngest is 21 months and just started being really steady the last few months! She was really clumsy for the first 6 months of her walking! Both her front teeth are chipped right in half !

That’s very normal lol. The little ones need time to get better and it may even take months for them not to walk so wobbly or like they’re waddling lol. However if you notice it excessively happening even after she’s been walking for a while talk to her pediatrician
