My S.O. has recently been doing a lot of new things during sex and being extremely vocal now and telling me what to do you know things he’s never mentioned... we’ve been together for a long time. I’ve asked him if he’s been watching porn and he laughs and says no. Am I questioning it too much?

He might be, he might not be.  Maybe he's just learned to be more vocal.  If you're enjoying yourself, then don't worry about it; as long as he's still all about you!

Maybe he was just shy about the new stuff before? I don't watch porn and am pretty shy myself. I still try to do new things often and work myself up to say new things. It would make me feel a little awkward and set back my confidence a little bit if my husband started grilling me about it afterward. As long as you are comfortable with what he is doing, don't question it. And if you're enjoying his new moves and words, even more reason to just get into it and enjoy it. Of course if you don't like what he is doing or are uncomfortable, say something.
