Regret going natural for a big baby?

RL

Ladies, I need some help. I’m not necessarily looking for advice but maybe people willing to share their experiences?

Basically I am on track to deliver a big baby. My doctor has given me two options - induction at 39 weeks while the placenta is still healthy or a planned c-section.

All along my mantra has been “whatever is best for the baby” and a c-section certainly minimises the risks of having a big baby vaginally - getting stuck, getting distressed, tearing, vacuums/forceps, etc.

But I’ve read a lot of women can regret the c-section, especially if the baby is not as big as predicted.

What I’m wondering is, did anyone regret trying to give birth naturally/via induction when they knew the baby was big? I’ve read enough about regretting c-sections. I’d just like to know if the regret can go both ways or not.

I hope that makes sense! I’m a very indecisive person and mostly just want to do the best thing by my baby.
