Who should pay for the pregnancy test?

Not a major controversy but me and my boyfriend had a mini argument over it lmao.

So my boyfriend wanted me to do a second pregnancy test because after a week of doing the first one, I still hadn’t started my period. I said okay and he went to the shop to buy it.

The next day he asks me when I’m going to give him the £10 back, and I just looked at him confused. Apparently he assumed I was paying because I’m the woman and he’s not the one who has to pee on a stick 😂 he also said it would just make sense for me to pay because I’m the one who would be carrying the baby... Yes, YOUR baby 🤦‍♀️ women don’t just magically create babies on their own

I guess I was just as bad for assuming he was paying, but he was the one who asked me to do another one lol.

So should a woman always pay since she’s the one using it, should the man pay if he’s the one who wants her to do it, or should they always split the cost?
