Rash post partum

Did anyone develop a rash post-partum?

My little guy came 7 weeks early after my water broke. He’s in the NICU. I started developing a rash but I thought it was from scrubbing in so much. Now it’s spread to my lower abdomen and starting down my legs. It’s on my knuckles and forearm.

I worry that it’s contagious for little guy. I’m heading to the doc this morning, but just seeing if anyone had any experience with this.

Talked with the NICU this morning and he’s not showing any signs of rashes or bad reaction so that’s good.

Please let me know if you’ve experienced something like this. I really want to be with my little man in the NICU but won’t risk it if this rash is bad.
