What is your ideal sibling age difference

Question

I have a almost 5 month old. I wanted to wait until she is at least 1 year to her pregnant again. So when I give birth they would be about 2 years apart. 
I’m just struggling because I want to enjoy her baby-ness so to speak before handing another so I can enjoy their “baby-ness”. Also want to wait because a newborn is HARD. But I worry about age being to far apart. I just don’t know. I don’t know anyone with more then one baby so I need some real life experiences. 
Pros and cons of both sides please!!!!

Me and my sisters are all about 2.5 years apart and it was awesome!!! And werestill really close! 
Definitely want to wait until I’m feeling like myself again, that’s been harder then a newborn ! I hate having to work on getting myself back and baby ! 
We’re hoping to adopt number two and then naturally baby 3 but we’ll see what happens : )

My kids are 4 yrs apart and though it wasn’t planned, it’s worked out great. I was able to experience all my daughter’s firsts and now she goes to pre-k so I get some alone time with my baby boy.

I got pregnant with my second (2018 baby) when my daughter (2017 baby) was 10 months old. 
While I don’t find having 2 under 2 to be hard, I will say I’ve missed a big chunk of enjoying my first baby’s development. 
She changed so much in those 9 months I was pregnant, time passed so quickly and I feel I didn’t get to savour every moment of her growth. I guess the same goes for my 2018 baby, I don’t get to just sit and hold him like I did with my first born. I was actually just thinking last night that soon enough he wont want to be held anymore, soon he will want to hold his own bottle. Time really does go so fast. 
I wouldn’t change it now, but if I’m honest, perhaps I’d like there to be maybe another 9 - 12 months between them.

I have an eight year old and my October baby. I literally couldn’t do it without my daughter. She is so helpful and wonderful. I can’t imagine not having an extra set of hands. More power to all the people who can do close together but it’s not for me lol

My mom had 4 children, each 3 years apart so in my mind this was a nice age because we were potty trained before the next one came along. However, I just had my first child and I’m 37 so it’s now or never for me.

My kiddos are 2 years and 2 months apart. Having 2 in diapers is kind of crazy. My son still isn't potty trained but the bond they have is so precious. My daughter smiles so big and is always looking for her brother. He is helpful (sometimes too helpful) but he gets jealous at times and wants me to put the baby down or "baby go night night". We might be done since I am in school full time and working but if we have another one it will be after the first 2 are potty trained and the oldest is in school.

Mine are 2, years 10 months apart. For me this was the perfect age gap. My oldest potty trained when his brother got here, and he tries to be so helpful. It's perfect for me. 🙂
