Nobody offered to throw baby shower

I’m currently 6 months pregnant with my second child and going to my friends “sprinkle” shower this weekend. Its her second child too. Her friends are throwing her this shower and I wish my friends would offer to do one for me as well. We share friends but the ones throwing the shower for her are strictly just her friends from another group.

But Is it wrong to want your close girlfriends to offer to throw a little sprinkle for me as well? For my first baby shower I realized I put it on by myself with the help of my mother in law. But I guess I’m hearing it’s really something family or friends throw on for you.. I don’t know.. I’m feeling kind of bummed nobody has asked about it. I guess if nobody asks, then I should just not do a sprinkle right? Makes me sad to have to throw one for myself so don’t think that would be an option.
