What did you bring your newborn baby home in from hospital??? I'm the summer??

I had a winter baby. Dead winter day after christmas here in NY. Now we are due in june..I feel nervous on how to dress him lol.

My son was born in June.. im in ohio .. so I put a short sleeve onesie , a thin pair of pants , socks , and a receiving blanket.. (because we still had the ac on in car on low )

I'm due in May and it gets HOT here in Alabama. This is what I am bringing her home in.

If I can find some cute shorts or thin leggings to go with it she will wear those but just the onesie is fine too

They say to dress them in one more layer than you wpuld normally wear :) my daughter was born in august and it was still pretty hot. So we just did a little footie sleeper and a thin receiving blanket

Remember babies can’t regulate their temperature and I’m sure the baby will be in AC conditions (inside buildings and car). My son was born in October but in south Texas that meant 90 degree weather and sunny. I still had him in long sleeves and pants since we kept the car cool and our house cool.

My son was born in Southeast Texas August 1st lol. It was like 102 degrees and humid when we brought him home. He wore a short sleeve onesie, scratch mittens and socks. I used a muslin blanket over his car seat while we were walking to the car as a sun shade, and then on the drive home (hour long) I laid it over him because our car ac gets COLD. My hubby had went out and started the car about 20 minutes before we came out so that it had cooled down.

Id bring a onesie, a pair of shorts, and a sun hat or cover that can go on the car seat to protect baby from the sun.
