I am having to have a repeat csection, my daughter ended in an emergency csection and my ob and decided a repeat section would be safest considering my daughters labor / birth. At the begining he said TYPICALLY they schedule csections at 39 weeks. I hit 39 weeks on a sunday, so I'm figuring that means the following Monday would be my section date. However, my husband is only getting 5 days off work to help me and my 2 year old toddler. If I could schedule my csection on FRIDAY, he already has the weekends off and we would come home monday, and he could use his days off to help me at home where I would actually need the help instead of spending the days off at the hospital where we have nurses to help. Would the 2 days make a big difference? Am I being selfish? I have an appointment Thursday to talk to my ob (it's a normal check up) I'm 30 weeks pregnant.
