I’m 9 months pregnant, live in New York so it’s been super cold and icy so my boyfriend has to walk the dog but I can let him out during the day on his lead, but all he does is bark at the damn squirrels!! He’s never done it this much, and no matter what I do he just looks at me and keeps barking like “I don’t care mom!” Plus we live in a city neighborhood so I’m worried I’m pissing my neighbors off. He’s great otherwise, he’s super snuggly and lovable, but he’s just being an asshole for no reason lately! He also will only come in for my boyfriend, unless I bribe him with a treat but that’s just rewarding him with bad behavior. But like I said, I can’t get to the yard because it’s all ice and I’ve already fallen once.

I’m really against the idea of a bark collar, but I did have to buy one once when we lived in a complex and he would bark when we left. We had no idea he was barking and the neighbor complained. I only used it once as a test and he didn’t do it again but it broke my heart.
