I didn’t want my mom or sisters to have to pay so much for a cake or cupcakes... so here it is!

It’s an almond cake with homemade chocolate mousse layered inside. The cupcakes are the same flavor with the chocolate in the middle too! (I cut out a hole in the middle). Homemade meringue and macaroons with a raspberry filling for decoration. Really tried my best! What do you guys think?

Thank you SO MUCH for all of the kind words! I have a degree in fine arts and always enjoyed baking - but never tried anything like this. Feels great to get so many nice responses! They were definitely a hit at the shower this weekend as well.
