I went in on Feb. 10th at 8:45pm to start a two step induction at 39 weeks 3 days due to high blood pressure. I was barely 1 cm dialated when they inserted the first pill in my cervix at 9:45pm. My contractions started within minutes. Two hours later I was in a lot of pain (back labor) and shaking uncontrollably so they checked me again and I was 5cm. I requested an epidural. About 45 minutes later they gave me the epidural. They checked me again a few minutes later as I was still in a ton of pain. At that time I was at 9cm so they called the doctor. 45 minutes later I started pushing and baby girl arrived 10 minutes later at 1:41am. 36 hours later we were in our way home as a new family of 3.
