Where have you/are you putting the newborn car seat?

I had a cop install mine before my son came. They’ll do it at my local substation if you ask. He advised behind passenger seat because most accidents happen on drivers side. Yes it’s not convenient if you’re alone driving and walking around car but I took his advice.

Middle because if another car crashes into either side baby is least likely to be hit.

I think the best convenient place to put it is behind the drivers seat, especially if you will be in the passenger seat. My son has actually been put up front with us as we only have a 3 seater truck. Before I get shit on yes we are allowed to, triple checked. If we had air bags in the vehicle than it would of been a no go.

Look up your cars recommendation. Each car actually will state where the car seat should be. Most of the time it's the drivers side but not always.

Behind the passenger. My husband is a beast and the carseat wont fit on the driver side if my husband is driving. We are planning to move our toddler to the drivers side and put baby behind passenger. We have captains chairs in the middle row so theres no option for putting baby in the middle.
