When to tell our parents??

We told our parents the day I found out. They knew we had been trying for a long time so it was just too exciting to keep a secret.

We decided to tell my parents and my in-laws after we confirmed it. Even if something were to happen, I’m glad I’d be able to have the support system from both our parents 💛 praying for everyone a happy healthy 9 months!

Told my parents about a week after BFP and his parents a week after that. My sis waited to tell my parents until 12 weeks & they always make comments about how she should have told them sooner so I told them early.

Both times I sent a pic of my positive pregnancy test to my mom immediately. Before I even told my husband! I waited to tell him in person each time but was way too excited and had to tell someone right away, so mom it was. Lol. I have an extremely close relationship with her and the news of a new grand baby is always very exciting to her so I couldn’t wait :). Both times I was 3.5-4 weeks along. Barely even a speck in there lol.

We told both sets of parents the same week I tested positive, we just couldn’t keep it a secret!

We tell our parents as soon as we can. We don’t ever do anything elaborate. They’re the first to know, then after our first ultrasound, we begin telling other people.

We told our immediate family the day we found out. I could never hide it from them for that long

I was hoping to make it to 18 weeks to tell my mom on Mother’s Day but that’s a bit too long so will probably tell her sometime shortly after 12 weeks.

We waited until between weeks 11 and 12 but I had already had two ultrasounds and been to see a high risk dr so we definitely knew it was good to go.

Told my mom within a week of getting my BFP & the inlaws around 8 weeks, after 1st ultrasound
