I got two of the Medela nursing bras this time from Target while on maternity leave, but they are surprisingly supportive (I am a 44DD) so I actually feel comfortable going out in them! I also recommend Smallshow on Amazon. I love the shirt I got and I will probably order a couple more soon.

I believe in investing in good bras since I have a large chest and there is even more for the bra to support while you nurse. At the same time if it’s too tight it can press on your milk ducts and create problems. I went to a local store that specializes in bra fittings and got really good advice there. However when it comes to nursing tops I’m super cheap and just use the two shirt method: wear a cami under a regular shirt and when you nurse you pull the cami down and the shirt up and there you go. Aside from being cheap (or free: I actually haven’t bought any new clothes to do this) it has the added advantage that you can wear your favorite pre-pregnancy shirts again.
