We want time to ourselves

Tianna • Baby Girl Due April 2019 ❤️🤰🏼💕

My fiancé and I have decided that we don’t want his parents to come up and see baby once she is born right away. We want them to come up a week or so after. The reason we’ve decided this is because with our little ones arrival we can go potentially preterm and we’d have to stay in the nicu for a while so there is no point for them to be here for them to do nothing when we can’t even do anything ourselves. And if we don’t go preterm we want healing time and time do deal with the nurses that come to the house and visit a few days after. And for us to get into a routine and things figured out on our own. His mother has broke down crying and won’t tell us what she’s thinking. And now it’s making us feel bad for making a decision for us and our own family. It’s not that we don’t want them there, it’s just time we want for ourselves settling into our new roles as parents and time to heal. If his parents could they would stay for as long as they could and do as much as they can , which we don’t want as we need to do things ourselves. But moral of what I am trying to say or ask is; is it wrong for us to want time to ourselves when our little one arrives ?!
