I went to my general practice to do the whole in office pee test. I tell the doctor I’ve had blighted ovums in the past, I’m stressed about it and asked if they could please order some hgc level tests. This doctor tells me I have to be referred to one of their OBs, and only the OBs can request those tests. I question that why can they order the tests and have someone read the results. He basically just said that’s not how it works. As we were finishing up the visit I ask about the blood test to confirm I’m pregnant, again only the OB can do that.

I have NO idea what to do. He said it can take up to 3 weeks for the OB office to get back to me. 3 weeks from now I’ll be 8 weeks pregnant, and having no idea if this is a viable pregnancy. I am so flustered!
