Nipple piercings?

I’m getting my nipples pierced soon, but I don’t know what im in for. How do properly take care of them? Protocol for cleaning? How long before they properly heal? What can I do to ensure the smoothest healing possible?

Took mine about 8 month to heal. I actually had to take them out the first time i got them done becuase they rejected. I would suggest buying the sea salt spray they have. Or make a sea salt solution at home. They will be sore. They'll get crusty. I wouldn't plan on having anyone play or use their mouth on them for a while unless you want an infection. Make sure to clean them as directed daily and keep them clean. 
Ask your piercer anything else. I've had mine since I was 19, I'm 29 now.

Didnt hurt bad for the actual piercing, but healing sucked. You will live in a sports bra for a while, and when things get hooked in it, it hurts like a bitch.
Healing time takes FOREVER, I've had mine for over 2 years and they still aren't healed all the way. Although, I had to take them out a few weeks ago for surgery and when i put them back in it really hurt (I used medical lube) and I find they've been a lot better ever since, I'm not sure why, maybe I broke a bubble or something on the inside? Idk
But if your not okay with constant cleaning, I do not recommend.

They hurt like a bitch to get and take forever and a half to heal . Supposed to be around a year. But I had mine over 2 years and they never healed no matter how well I took care of them. A lot of people’s just never heal so i took them out they weren’t worth the hassle to me and got tired of the constant crusties. Ask your piercer your questions before hand and make sure the pierce you with a longer bar to accommodate swelling
