I'm so baffled seeing some of the stories about prenatal /l&d costs in America and just wanted to know some of your experiences, I believe those would be the three options but am curious about the details

My pregnancy experience :

I'm from Canada, we have our choice of gp, midwives or obgyn for prenatal care (only one provider tho)I started with a gp and transferred to midwives. I've had 12 weeks prenatal care, 4 ultrasound and many urine/blood tests then a d&c when I miscarried. Now I'm 33 weeks with prenatal care, classes, blood, urine, ultrasound x3 and preparing for a home birth, I chose over birthing center or hospital (with transfer paperwork done should an emergency arise) my midwives will attend, then do home visits to follow up for 6 weeks I think.

I've only paid for parking.
