Flu shot.

So mamas I kinda have a problem well mainly an issue. When I found out I was pregnant I made it known that if you wanted to see my baby you needed the flu shot. I’m a CNA and I’ve seen elderly die off like flies because of the flu.

My father-n-law made it know he wasn’t getting the flu shot because every time he does he gets the flu. My mother-n-law seemed okay with it. But she swear the flu shot caused autism and that my step child shouldn’t get the shot.(her trying to be in charge) Here recently she stated she wasn’t getting this shot. Blah blah it’s the first time in years she hadn’t got sick she thinks she allergic to the shot.

My mother scheduled an appointment the day I made the announcement. My grandma doesn’t go anywhere so it’s okay if she doesn’t get the shot she stays in her house 24/7, so she’s not to exposed to excess germs.

Now the hospital I’m delivering at already has 1,200 confirmed cases of the flu within two weeks.

Everybody else in my family has already gotten their flu shots so question asked. With my baby coming mid March which is still flu season.

Would it be too much to ask to say “if you haven’t gotten the flu shot to not come to the hospital because of so many cases of the flu”

Or am i being to extra?
