IUD or Implant?

i’m not really sure which one to get :/ my boyfriend and I have mainly been using condoms ( a few session of withdrawal method) but we really try to be safe. I don’t want to worry about pregnancy, and the IUD and implant are both 99% + effective.

I have high blood pressure, so I can’t take any BC with estrogen. I was going to get the copper IUD, but so far in the last 6 months i’ve had BV twice and a yeast infection once, and i’ve heard that the IUD ~can~ cause BV more frequently. I also heard that the nexplanon causes a lot of irregular bleeding/spotting. both are downsides.

i’m just looking for opinions!
