Chemical pregnancy or miscarriage?

Ok so i miscarried at roughly 6 weeks pregnant (taken of using 1st day of last period as how to work it out) and many people say this is a chemical pregnancy. I know this is a type of miscarriage but everywhere explains this as, if you weren’t tracking, you would just assume a later heavier period.

Well it’s been almost 3 weeks now and I’m still bleeding lightly, so there is no way I ever would have found this normal. So I was just wondering in these cases do you still call it a chemical pregnancy or do you just call it a miscarriage?

Don’t worry by the way, I have had advice from health professionals etc, just wondering about the semantics.

Personally, I’d call that a miscarriage. I always thought of chemical pregnancies as the ones where you find out you’re pregnant before your period is due (usually with a faint line on the test strip) and then your period shows up either on time or a couple days late and lasts the normal amount of time. Just my opinion 🤷‍♀️

Thanks, tbh I’m calling it a miscarriage too. Certainly feels like it.
