Okay ladies! Anyone tried an ECV for breech baby?

Question

My doctor suggested an ECV at 37 weeks if I want to try for a natural birth since I am 35 weeks and baby is transverse. I also have an anterior placenta. Has anyone tried the ECV and it be successful? If not what happened? Trying to decide if it’s worth it to try. Thank you!

I tried but it didn’t work. But that’s Because baby was too big because they tried at like 37 weeks. He was 9 lbs. 6 oz. when he was born

Never had it done but I was In the delivery room with my aunt when she did. Her baby was also in a transverse position and they were able to turn her with no complications and she delivered vaginally. However they let her know that if there was any indication the baby was in distress they would stop immediately and take her into an emergency c section.
