Has anyone a ex-husband refuse their children after divorce?

Change address, changes number and loses all contact? After our divorce he was order to pay child support and although he agreed to only 2 Sunday’s per month he has never made an attempt.

The only time I get a hold of him is through court and I send the mail to his brothers and even then he still refuses to tell the judge his contact info and won’t set a visiting schedule. It had been 8 years and he has not spent any time with them except for our oldest when he was 1 years old. He is 10 now.

I feel hurt because even if we did not work I don’t think the boys deserve this. They want to know where he is and why he doesn’t want to see them. I always kee positive and don’t talk bad but in getting so upset and I think I should start telling my oldest the truth. That his father is not a cooperating dad. I been lying for years just saying he is busy and he will come around.

I want to get over it -but some days it saddens me.

Anyone else go through this ? How did you deal with it or get over it ?
