Joy after tragedy
My family and I just completely lost everything we own except the clothes on our backs this past Thursday in a house fire. As completely tragic as it was, I tried to remain calm and grateful that my husband, kids and dog were all able to make it out safely. Today, I got the most joyful news with those two pink lines showing up. One day at a time, but this reminded me that even thru heartache, I know everything will be ok.
