Breastfed baby refusing bottle while mom is at work

I went back to work a few weeks ago 3x/week. Next week I start back at full time (5x/week from 9-5).

My mom is watching my 6-month-old for me at my house. My husband works from home so he's there too.The first few days, my daughter took the bottle just fine. For the past 2 weeks though, she's completely refusing it from both my mom and husband....like she won't eat until I get home. 😢

What do I do? Will she eventually get hungry enough and take it? Do I need to go home and feed her?

You could try having them lay one of your shirts on them or her so she smells you.

My daughter did this too. It lasted for a few weeks. I think we tried every bottle that you can buy on amazon. Eventually she came around and started taking a bottle just fine.

Maybe a different bottle maybe the nipple needs a faster flow?

Try latex nipples

I would love to be encouraging and say that she will eventually accept the bottle, but my guy never did. He ate the bare minimum till i got home. About 4-8ounces in a 10 hour shift. Till he was 1. He reverse cycled and ate all night. They won't starve doing this but it makes for one tired working mama. It's really no different for them as sleeping through the night. They just choose to not eat while you're gone vs at night. I feel for ya. I woke up every 2 hours to nurse till my boy was 15 months.

Have them swaddle or wrap her in something that smells like you. Also have them feed her while you are home too so she isnt used to only eating from you.
