Maternal Fetal Medicine - first appt - what to expect??

Question

I have my first MFM appt on Friday at 12+4 weeks and am looking for information on what to expect? How long will I likely be there for? What kind of testing will be done? 
If you have been referred to MFM for high BMI what did they do at your first appt??

I don’t go for BMI but my first baby was premature so I go for cervical length checks as well as high bp. For my first appt I had an ultrasound and then talked to the dr about my medicine, course of action (bi-weekly cervical length checks, prog. shots), and we set up my next 5 appointments. The appt took maybe 45 minutes.
I was soooo nervous going in but the nurses, the tech, and the dr were sooooo sweet. I actually like going there more than my regular ob lol.

Its soooo much better then going to the regular dr i havent had an issue w my bp being high since iv started going and youll get an ultrasound everytime you go!!! I go on wed at 24 weeks and theyll be doing a detailed ultrasound of her heart. If i was getting the ultrasounds at my regular ob i would only have gotten just 1 or 2 and iv had maybe 5? They just will check your vitals and to the ultrasound room you go then the dr will come in to go over the results.

I have to go there because I have diabetes my first apt with them I was there for 4 hours they did an ultrasound then a actual like drs visit then I went to a room and talked about my medicines and stuff with a little pediatrician they also handed me a whole bunch of info
