Is it insulting to stay in a hotel instead of with relatives (see description for context)?

Br

My husband’s parents offered to let us stay with them for an upcoming visit. However, they just told us they had forgotten that they had already offered the room we would be using to my sister in law and her friends, so now they want us to stay in their motor home in their driveway. I’m pregnant and we have a two year old. The last time I “slept” in the motorhome I hardly slept at all—I woke up at seemingly every sound, including the air kicking in and off again all night. I do not want to deal with that along with a ) hour drive each way (Friday and Sunday). If we stay with my brother-in-law (which may not be an option), my daughter and I would sleep in an air mattress in a guest room while my husband sleeps on the couch.

Given all of that, the best solution seems to be staying in a hotel room... but my husband says that’s insulting. Is it really so wrong to want to be able to sleep comfortably when I’m already struggling with fatigue?
