Has a growth scan ever been wrong for you in the 3rd trimester?

I’m 35 weeks but baby is measuring 2 weeks behind. @ 4lbs 11oz 
They don’t want me going past 38 weeks now.. 
Has anyone been told baby is small but the ultrasound be wrong?

My sister has the opposite. They told her my niece was giant. That she’d probably be over 10 lbs. She was 7 lbs 3 oz.

Yes baby’s can be bigger for sure, plus they say they gain a pound after week 35 lol  it sure how accurate it is but my girl weighed 4.2 at 32 weeks and was born at 37 weeks weighing 7lbs 12oz

The ultrasound can be off by a bit for sure. Happens quite often, they can never be 100%. My son was expected to be 4lbs, came out 5lbs 7oz.

My baby was small also and we had suspected IUGR. However they were very accurate in guestimation of how small she was.

They told me my first would be 7-7.5 pounds and “average length”...he was 10.2 pounds and 23 inches long!

The further along you are the less accurate those scans are.
They said my son would come early and be over 10lbs. He came one day before he was due at 8lbs 5oz.
I would wait to try and go into labor naturally 💕

My first was born at 5 pound and 19 inches long. They said he was 6 pounds. My second was born at 28 weeks. They said he was 2 pounds 4 ounces. He was born at 1 pound 15 ounces.

I was told my entire pregnancy with my son that he had a two week growth lag. They told me he will just be born tiny. My son came out 8 lbs 4 oz! Those ultrasounds are not 100% accurate. Lol

I was told she was tiny, at my 32 weeks scan she was 5 lbs. She was born at 6lbs. So it wasn’t wrong. I was also told she was long which was right. haha
