Does your baby vomit breastmilk

I breastfeed my baby and she kept vomiting it 😢😢 I took her to the hospital they did an ultrasound and they told me everything is ok with her stomach I don’t know what to do.

My son does. Well, I wouldn’t say it’s vomiting... more like spitting up. Vomiting and spitting up are two different things. I have a forceful let down and sometimes my son overeats and spits up after burping. Normal for most babies. Vomiting on the other hand is not normal.

It could be caused by a dairy allergy. My daughter would do this especially if I had eat like a bowl of cereal and drank the milk or something. Take her to her pedi not the ER and ask about this.

All babies spit up after eating.  Sometimes it helps to burp them every 5 minutes while they’re nursing to prevent it.

Yeah my two younger kids used to puke a lot. It took 3-4 weeks for their little tummies to get used to milk. But it got better over time. Remember, they've never eaten anything before being born. Their stomach is learning something completely new. It takes time!

Are you burping baby regularly?

She may also have reflux when you finish feeding her burp her well and have her sitting up for 30 min against your chest and her head on your shoulder or so. Helped my baby
