Can I use the pack n play for my newborn to sleep in every night?

Soon to be first time mom. I’m trying to figure out what to put my newborn in for overnight sleep in our bedroom. Can I use the pack n play for my newborn to sleep every night ?

Crib, bassinet or Pack n Play aka Play yards are safe for sleep with just a fitted sheet.

My daughter slept in a pack and play from birth (bassinet portion) until 2 when she went to a toddler bed.  She was scared of her crib so it was so pointless 😂

We used a bassinet because it's what we had but we moved on to a pack and play around 4 months old that even had the top bassinet portion. After we are done I don't see a point to a crib so she's going into a twin bed off the frame.
