Pregnancy test getting lighter..

When I took my first pregnancy test in January my lines were extremely dark, they were even taking away from the control line. Well now that I’m 8weeks, I took a test tonight, just for reassurance because I haven’t been to the doctor yet, and my line appeared lighter. It’s still very dark, just not darker than the control line anymore. Is this normal? Or should I be worried?
