I’m 25 weeks and last night was so scary. My husband and I had sex around around 8pm. That’s when things went from bad to worse.

Crams started to slowly develop. On and off on and off. All of a sudden my stomach starts to tighten, and becomes overwhelmingly painful. Contractions occurring about every 30 seconds. Two hours pass, and crams/contractions are still occurring on a frequent basis.

My husband keeps researching, and everything he finds tells him it’s normal. Well we decide to try to go to bed. I wake up at 12 still cramping, and now I’m having watery discharge.

This was the moment I actually became concerned. I’m searching for a number to call. I finally call the birthing center and speak to one of the attending doctor.

Well, apparently sperm can interact with the uterus and can cause contractions. Are you kidding me.

My husband is now adamant that we will not have sex anymore, and if we do, he will not cum inside me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ yay for pregnancy! 😑
